Intercultural exchange by joint cooking
Cooking connects - across cultures! This is the idea of the organisation "Über den Tellerrand kochen". At joint cooking events, typical dishes of a specific country are cooked, depending on the availability of a suitable volunteer cook. Afterwards, alle the participants eat together at a large table. Anyone can participate after prior registration, participation is on a donation basis to finance the ingredients. The event is often accompanied by information about the respective country, interactive games and musical performances. This event not only enables the participants to enjoy a different cuisine but also to meet and connect with new people from different cultures.
